Can I add my own photos from my computer or phone to my book?

Yes. Your book is still built from the account you connected, but you can now add photos that were never posted anywhere — straight from your computer or phone, into a Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Page or Dropbox book.

Open your book, and in the Add and select content panel press Add content, then Import photos. Drag your photos into the box or click it to browse. Each photo gets its own line where you can set the date, add a location, pick a mood and write a short note that will be printed as its caption. Press Import and the book recalculates with them in place.

Two things to know. The date is what decides where a photo lands, and it starts as today's date — so change it to the day the photo was taken if you want it in the right place. And the date has to fall inside the period your book covers; if it does not, the editor will offer to extend the book or let you pick another date.

What you cannot do is make a book from uploaded photos alone: they are added to a book that already comes from one of your accounts.
