How do I write my own text or a post directly in my book?

You can now write directly into your book. In the Add and select content panel press Add content, then Create a custom post.

Write your text in Tell your memory…. Above it, set the date — that is where the post will sit in the book — and, if you like, a location and a mood. The star in the corner marks it as a highlight. Under the text you can attach photos from This device or from your Social networks, and Appearance lets you choose a background colour, a font and a text colour for the post.

Press Publish to the book when you are done, or Publish and add another to carry straight on with the next one. The book recalculates and the post appears on its date, printed with the time, the place and the mood you gave it.

This is the way to add a note, a story or a caption that was never posted on your account. Captions that came from Facebook or Instagram still print as they are.
