The switch won’t affect your followers, posts, or profile. In fact, you don’t even need to change anything about how you use Instagram.

🔧 How to Switch Your Instagram Account to a Professional Account

Follow these easy steps:

That’s it! You’ve now unlocked the ability to turn your Instagram timeline into a beautiful, printed book.

To change back, on the ☰ menu icon (top right), under the “For professionals” section, tap “Creator tools and controls” and then “Switch account type”. Select “Personal account”.

💡 Remember: You can switch your account back to personal at any time, but we recommend that you do so only after receiving your book at home, to avoid any production issues.

💡 By switching your account to Professional, all the pending follow requests will be accepted, so make sure to refuse all the requests from people you don’t want to follow you before doing the switch.
