How many pages should my book have?

As long as your period gives you. Anything between the 20-page minimum and the 500-page maximum works, and there is no reason to hold back: the longer a book is, the less it costs per page, so one big book is better value than the same content split into several smaller ones.

A year of ordinary posting usually lands somewhere in the low hundreds of pages. The one thing worth knowing is that past about 400 pages a book becomes genuinely heavy to hold — lovely on a shelf, less easy in your lap.

You only need a second volume when your period runs past 500 pages, which is the point at which a book can no longer be bound.
